A hipster is an individual who avoids and often explicitly rejects whatever is seen as mainstream or corporate in nature, instead embracing alternative forms of expression. Often, these alternative forms quickly become mainstream or corporate themselves, thus creating an arms race between the genuinely trendy and the "played out." Indeed, even the label "hipster" is no longer desirable, and it is rarely used for self-identification, except in an ironic or self-deprecating way.


WELL... NOW THAT SEEMS A BIT DIFFERENT FROM what was said in the dictionary in a way.
so basically, to be a hipster clothing wise... you are knowledgeable to wearing what other hipsters wear that were worn and made years ago or are worn and made now by fellow hipsters made by fellow hipsters and are non corporate bought. so, i guess victoria's secret is out.. SUCKS FOR ME! .....vebhj rr.....riigghhtttttt.... I DO NOT AGREE!!!!

I BEGAN MY NIGHT BY GOING TO SEE TRANSFORMERS WITH GREG, GABE AND PJ. I THEN BOUGHT A CUPCAKE.
WE WENT TO GABE'S BUT GREG WENT HOME.
IN THESE PHOTO OF ME BREAKING IN MY CORY ELEPHANT, TAKING PHOTOS OF EACH OTHER ON THEIR IPHONES... THATS RIGHT.. THEY BOTH HAD IPHONES!!! IT WAS AMAZING. WEARING AN I'LL BASS YOU T-SHIRT SOLD ON KILL SHOP KILL FOR THE TROUBLE & BASS CREW, WITH MY HAIR EVERYWHERE AND A BICYCLE BEHIND ME THAT BELONGED TO GABE AS WE SAT IN HIS APARTMENT WITH PJ, AND I ATE A LOVELY CUPCAKE.... THEN AFTERWARDS ATE TWO HOT DOGS AT PAPAYA DOG PILLED UP WITH STUFF. THEN TAKING MY ADVENTURE TO THE LEVEE WHERE I SAT AND WROTE NONSENSE ON SHEETS OF PAPER AND SIPPED DOWN A MEXICAN WITCH (WHICH I DO RECOMMEND) AND ATE ANOTHER HOT DOG PILLED UP WITH STUFF... HMM... IS THAT HIPSTER OF ME?
